Garry started by walking up the road from Horton in Ribbesdale and took a quiet lane all the way to High Birkwith, an undulating lane for 2.5 miles.
He then took a bridleway across the moors to the Dales Way.
Whilst walking where the Pennine bridleway crosses the Three Peaks Way, Garry met three men (Andy, James and Dave) who were walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks who he recognised from Cheltenham. They stopped for a chat. What a remarkable coincidence!
After this, Garry then turned down towards the road where I met him at Gearstones. We soon found a cafe nearby for refreshments!
Whilst Garry was walking today, me and Alfie had an adventurous trip to Halfords in Burnley to source a part for our electric coolbox. We had success so we have cold food on our travels again!
6.6 miles walked today for Garry.
Rest Day tomorrow (hooray!)
