Lands End to John o'Groats complete!
Winding back to yesterday evening, Garry and I had a stroll around Wick harbour.
Much later in the evening, a surprise visitor, Will, arrived in Wick after 15 hours of train travel from London. I've never seen Garry so surprised! A later night than originally planned before the final walking day! This morning, I dropped Garry and Will at Nybster where they began walking northwards along the A99. Me and Alfie headed to park up at John o'Groats.
From Duncansby Head, we walked back towards John O'Groats village and then to the signpost, via the local farm shop and petting farm!
We couldn't be this far north without visiting the most northerly point on the UK mainland, Dunnet Head (by car!). It was incredibly windy here, so we didn't stay long!
A relaxing afternoon, showers and a celebratory meal at Mackays in Wick are planned this evening.
Garry has walked a total of 1,112 miles and I've walked 421, (and driven many many more!)

What an experience! More stats and memories to follow tomorrow for those who are vaguely interested!
Hi this is salad ( sally ) 3 cheers for Will traveling 15 hours by train, Marie for walking 421 miles and driving .............. miles, Alfie for walking his little legs off come rain, wind or sun and of course you Garry for completing the momentous 1,112 miles something I myself can not even begin to imagine.
